Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, specifically in eminent domain, energy/land‑use litigation, and commercial litigation.
Proven experience representing condemners (e.g., utilities, pipeline companies, common carriers) throughout all phases of the condemnation process.
Ability to manage matters from survey access and initial offers through special commissioners’ hearings and judicial proceedings involving right‑to‑take and damages issues.
Strong background handling complex, multi‑party, and multi‑district litigation.
Demonstrated capability to develop and execute sophisticated litigation strategies independently.
Experience working with clients in the energy sector, including gas utilities, pipeline companies, and electrical utilities.
Ability to navigate both temporary and permanent easement acquisitions for transmission and lateral lines.
Strong courtroom skills and comfort managing cases from early investigation through trial.
